Star chilD and the Dream muse
In the depths of dream we rise,
taken by the Dream muse to worlds unseen
unknown, unreal.
Vivid as lines crisscrossing palms.
"See," she says, "And I will catch you if you fall."
So that every night you may rise higher.
And every dream might be a tad brighter.
Until the Dream muse leaves to help another.
And you find yourself holding a sister or a brother as
you whisper to them, "See, and I will catch you if you fall."
Dream on Star Child, dream on.
